ROULETTE STRATEGYHow to Play Roulette
The object of roulette is to choose a winning number before the tiny ball slides into a numbered slot on the wheel. Players can also bet any combination of numbers, either a red or black, as well as an odd or even. The roulette wheel itself holds 39 slots that are numbered from 0-36 and double zero (00).
The Layout of the Roulette Table
Players will notice that a roulette table has two betting areas. The inside betting area which contains all of the numbers, and the outside betting area that holds different betting options for players to choose from: red/black numbers, odd/even numbers, and different sequences of numbers.
Acquiring Betting Chips
Prior to playing roulette, you will exchange your money for specialty-colored roulette chips that will distinguish your bets on the table. These chips can only be used on the roulette table and must be cash out when you’re finished playing roulette.
The Art of Betting on a Roulette Table
All roulette tables have a minimum or maximum betting limit for each spin. Players cannot combine their inside and outside bets to meet the table minimum. If the table minimum is $5, then you must bet $5 on the inside or outside. If you want to bet a number that is covered, don’t worry because you can stack your chips on other player’s chips. This is main reason why roulette players bet with specialty-colored chips.
