The object of the game is predicting the correct number on the table, which houses 36 multi-color numbers in square boxes. Even numbers are red and odd numbers are black. You also have the option to place a bet on zero and double zero, which are colored green on the table.
After placing your bet, the dealer will spin a tiny white ball in the opposite direction on a turning wheel. As soon as the ball comes to a complete stop in one of the numbered groves, the dealer will call out the winning number.
Between 6-to-8 people can play on one roulette table, the dealer will give you color chips to bet with in exchange for your money. And once you have decided to quit playing roulette, the dealer will give you casino chips for your remaining colored chips on the table. Some players will walk by and place a one-time bet on a number that doesn’t require a colored chip.
You must place a bet before the wheel has been spun, and don’t wait for the dealer to call for last bet. Instead, they wave their arm across the table before putting the ball in motion. After the ball rest on a number, the dealer will then place a marker on the table to distinguish the winning number. They will then collect all losing bets before paying out on the winning number.
One mistake inexperience roulette players make is placing their chips all over the table.
Your winnings will become a washout in term of the amount of chips that was needed for the win. Yes, you want to maximize your chance of winning, but you don’t want to bet against yourself either. You will do this by placing more chips on the table than necessary. Remember, observe the amount of bets you are making for each spin, and then take into account the amount on the table during your winning spin.
Some players will make a mental note on what numbers have won in previous games. Their theory is giving equal chance for each number to be called, and if a number hasn’t been called in a few spins then it is due to be hit upon in upcoming games. Roulette players have a feeling that the wheel is unbiased and lacks memory. Other players scoff at this idea and say the past has no influence on what will be called on in the future.
